WELCOME TO PALO ALTO

 We are a group of dedicated shooters and sportsman of all levels in the southern Louisiana area.

Our club is located on a 50 acre tract of land on the West bank of the Mississippi River in Ascension Parish just N W of Donaldsonville.

The range consist of a 15 point 30 meter pistol range and small bore rifle range, a 20 point multi-purpose 100 meter rifle range and a 600 yard rifle range complete with elevating targets and target pits. All ranges have covered firing points and shooting tables and the 600 yard range has firing positions and a shooting table at 200, 300, 500, and 600 yards.

MID-RANGE PRONE MATCH
This match is held every 1st Saturday of the month and consist of Three 20 shot matches with 2 sighters at 600 yards. It is held at the 600 yard range and will occupy that range until (about) 1:30PM. Once or twice a year two day matches are held so check the calendar and match schedule for exact times and dates. Match directors are Rick Stewart 225-301-1615 and Ted Torres 985-665-7961.

SMALL BORE PRONE MATCH
This match is held about six times per year and consist of 160 shots with unlimited sighters at 50 and 100 yards. The match is held on the 100 yard range and is usually completed by 1:00pm. Check the calendar and match schedule for exact time and dates. Richard Bordelon match director 225-753-7675

BENCH REST MATCH
This match is held every 2 Sunday of the month and may vary from center fire to rimfire competition at 50 and 100 yards. It is held on the 100 yard range and is usually completed by 2:00 pm. Check the calendar and match schedule for time and dates. Match director is Joe Bougard 985-209-8072.

XTC MATCH
The Across The Course Match is an 80 shot match held every 3rd Saturday of the month. Firing is done in accordance with the Regional Match Course format. It is held on the 600 yard range. Once or twice a year two day matches are held so check the calenda and match schedule for exact times and dates. Match directors are Jay Hunt 985-768-8469 and Dan Zelenka 504-421-1323

Vintage military bolt action and M1Garand matches—These matches are held several times during the year. Check match schedules and calendar for time and dates.
